Steering you through the web of XNA communities

What Is XNACompass.com?

XNACompass is a place for people to discover and share XNA news, tutorials, and games from around the web. Users can submit new content, rate existing content, and even decide what categories the content should relate to, to help others in their searches. XNA is a framework for the community. XNACompass is a framework to steer you through that community.

Our mission is for the XNA community, made up of people from all over the world, to help each other find the resources they need to make tomorrow's AAA games. We here at XNACompass.com don't want to tell the XNA community where to find these resources; we want the community to share the news themselves. And that is what XNACompass.com is all about: Giving the community a way to spread the news.

Behind The Scenes

XNACompass.com is the brainchild of Devan Stormont, a firmware engineer in the gaming industry (as in slot machines, not consoles ;-) and a graduate in Software Engineering Technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology, the American northwest's premier polytechnic university. He has been a hobbyist XNA developer since the early days of Beta 1 and passionate about discovering new things, teaching others, and chasing plastic in his spare time (read: Ultimate Frisbee, the greatest sport ever created).
